DETROIT (WWJ) - More than a dozen dogs were removed from a house in Southwest Detroit -- and now volunteers are busy assessing the animals' condition and wondering how to prevent this from ever happening again.
Detroit Dog Rescue Dan Carlisle, with a crew of nine volunteers, worked well into the night on Tuesday, removing 13 dogs from a home where -- just last fall -- they had rescued 24 other dogs.
